Description:
- Urania Therapeutics develops a generic treatment for all genetic diseases when they are caused by a particular type of mutation, nonsense mutations (~10-15% of cases)
- This new therapeutic approach, translecture, is applicable regardless of the gene concerned, unlike gene therapies, which each target a specific gene.
